Disagree with the recommendation for typed languages. In Rust the compiler is the follow-through — missed call sites don't compile. Cursor plus cargo check in a loop beats Claude Code's grep discipline because it's mechanical, not probabilistic. This comparison generalizes from TS/JS more than it admits.
Legit point, noted in the writeup now. Though 'the compiler catches it' still costs you agent iterations — Claude Code getting it right in one pass was cheaper than Cursor's three compile-fix loops on the one Rust task we included.
Sure, but iterations are cheap when each one is 40 seconds. I'll take three fast mechanical loops over one slow oracular pass. Agree to disagree on the ergonomics.
For team adoption the review UI point is underweighted. I can get any of my 12 engineers to review a Cursor diff. Getting them to review 2,000 lines of terminal output from someone else's Claude Code session is a fight I keep losing. The tool your reviewers accept is the better tool.
Skeptic checking in: I ran the 34-file extraction described here on our Rails app as a test. Claude Code got 31 of 33 call sites — missed two in a rake task, which is at least an honest miss since nothing imports those. Still needed a human pass. 'Wins on follow-through' should not be read as 'doesn't need review.'
